Thank you so much for recovering my Sister. Facilities - 100% super. Doctor s , nurses, attending staff and food was excellent. Management support from Mr. Mahesh sir was v good
My mom passed away on Feb 5th 2026 post discharge from hospital on 3rd Nov 2025. We had a devastating experience at Shadithya Hospital. My 66-year-old mother was admitted for bipolar disorder treatment and was conscious and stable at admission. After undergoing multiple ECT (shock treatment) sessions here, her condition worsened severely. She became unconscious, suffered prolonged seizures, and was later shifted out. We admitted my mom for rehabilitation care, but she was instead aggressively treated for bipolar disorder and other disorders. Admission was for supportive rehab management, not intensive psychiatric intervention like ECT. We sought rehabilitation support, but the focus shifted to heavy medical treatment without clarity. The hospital was chosen for rehabilitation, yet she was subjected to advanced psychiatric procedures. Our expectation was rehabilitative care, but she was treated with invasive bipolar disorder therapies. There was a clear mismatch between the purpose of admission and the treatment administered. We strongly believe there were serious lapses in care and transparency. Families should exercise extreme caution and ensure all proper protocols are followed before consenting to such procedures. Admitted conscious and stable, but condition worsened drastically after ECT sessions. Lack of clarity and transparency regarding anesthesia and monitoring during ECT. Critical treatment details were not properly reflected in discharge summary. Developed prolonged seizures and remained unconscious after treatment. Forced to shift to another hospital for emergency stabilization. Spent substantial amt on further treatment after discharge. Suffered irreversible damage leading to death. Deeply disappointed with the standard of care and accountability. Families should insist on full procedural compliance before consenting to ECT. A painful and life-altering experience for our family.
I have been showing my mother here for a psychiatric treatment. Dr. Sree Prathap consulted and diagnosed very well. The hospital is clean and the atmosphere here is good. My mom feels safe and well treated here, we could see visible results. It is nice to see how people are aware of psychiatric problems and the trust they put on modern medicine. Psychiatric problem is like any other disease like diabetes or cholesterol to which we take immediate action and medicines to cure it. I will highly suggest to visit this hospital for psychiatric problem.
A good psychiatric hospital provides compassionate, patient-centered care with a strong team of qualified psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals. The environment is clean, calm, and safe, helping patients feel respected and comfortable during treatment. Treatment plans are individualized, combining medication, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation services effectively. Overall, such a hospital builds trust by maintaining ethical practices, clear communication, and consistent follow-up care. A good place for internship students👍
We are extremely grateful for the psychiatric care provided by this hospital. The psychiatrist managed my sister’s treatment with a high level of professionalism, patience, and compassion. The hospital staff and coordinators were cooperative and respectful, ensuring a smooth experience during a very sensitive time for our family. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and care shown by the psychiatrist and the entire hospital team.
